We are dedicated to improving our offerings for members, from upgrading our suites to improving guest relations to providing better access to Interval for exchanging time at other resorts. And when you visit your home resort, you'll truly enjoy your time in the Rocky Mountains!

Resort Information

Check-In

Check-in is between 4:00pm and 8:00pm. If you are unable to arrive prior to 8:00pm, contact Member Services to receive your check-in information.

Check-Out

Check-out is 10:00am. Failure to vacate by check out time may result in an extra day charge of $199 (minimum) that will be charged to your credit card.

Member Services

Front Desk Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm and Saturdays 8:30am - 8:00pm. Please note that these hours are subject to change without notice.

Amenities

Recreation Area Hours 8:00am – 10:00pm. Food or beverages are not permitted in the pool or fitness room.

Outdoor Heated Pool: The pool is heated and open year-round with an outdoor & indoor hot tub and sauna.

Fitness Room: Our fitness room boasts cardio machines, free weights, and a television.

Barbecue: The BBQ is located on the main floor at the end of the hallway. The utensils are located at the BBQ deck as a courtesy. Please leave them in a clean condition after use and remember to turn off the propane tank.

After Hours: Front doors automatically lock at 5:00pm. Door code is require to gain access.

Bicycles: A bike rack is located in the underground parkade.

Business Centre: Facsimile sending/receiving and photocopying services are available at the Member Services for a nominal fee. The Resort Fax number is 403-609-0191.

Garburators: Each unit is equipped with a garburator. Our garburators are very small. Bones, hard materials or quantities of soft materials cannot be put in the garburators.

Internet: High-speed internet is available for your use for a weekly charge.

Ski & Snowboard Storage: A ski rack is located in the parkade, and ski locks are available at no charge to borrow from the Front Desk.

Heated Underground Parking: Maximum 2 vehicles per unit. Please register your vehicles at the front desk.

Frequently Asked Questions

I want to exchange my week with Interval, what do I do?

To make an exchange, first contact Member Services for a reservation. This can be done from 365 days to 60 days in advance of the week you would like to book. If Member Services has inventory available in your season to trade and your membership is current and in good standing, you will be given a reservation number. Once you receive a reservation from Member Services, you can contact Interval International to deposit your week and exchange it for the week and destination of your choice. Please note all reservations are first come, first served.

Can I transfer or resell my timeshare membership?

The unexpired portion of the membership agreement may only be transferred or assigned to immediate family or a beneficiary following the death of the member. No other transfer or assignment is permitted without first obtaining the written consent of the Resort. Should the Resort consent to the assignment, the member and assignee need to complete the required paperwork. In the event of death, appropriate notification including a death certificate must be given to the Resort. There shall be no transfer or assignment if the member has not paid the Purchase Price as specified on the agreement in full or if the member is in default of any obligations contained in the agreement. The member transfer processing and administrative fee is $500 (plus GST).

What are your policies on smoking and pets?

The Grand Canadian Resort is a non-smoking facility. Please do not smoke in or around the building. The Town of Canmore prohibits smoking within 5 meters of any building opening, including doors, balconies, and windows.

Grand Canadian Resort is also a pet-free facility. Pets are not permitted inside units or on the resort property. For any concerns or additional information please contact Member Services.

Non-compliance with these policies will result in a minimum violation fee of $500 and forfeiture of your reservation. Please respect everyone’s right to enjoy a smoke-free and pet-free environment.
